Cybersecurity is much more than hacking

At InnoTech, we are much more than “screens”. What’s behind the faces you usually interact with on conference calls? Today, we invite you to meet Fátima Rodrigues, our expert in Cybersecurity who loves farming and going to the gym 🌿🏋‍♀.

Why did you choose InnoTech to evolve your career?

InnoTech provides the best of both worlds, a constant challenge at a professional level with bold and disruptive projects and a holistic approach to the talents in the world of consulting.

How do you describe yourself? What personal qualities do you highlight?

Humanism, empathy and teamwork. I like to feel part of something. I’m sure that a team with a good spirit of mutual help is more than half of the work done. We should all pass the spirit of the Scrum methodology to our personal and professional lives.

As a recent InnoTecher, what’s your opinion about the onboarding process? And the work environment you found at InnoTech?

Innotech turned on the “decomplicameter”. A direct approach to the Consultant’s problems and always-open communication channels are the added value to the entire organization.

What is your role, what do you do in practice and what are your main skills?

When you talk about cybersecurity, you think about hacking. The area of cybersecurity goes much further than that. Knowing the application ecosystems, and establishing relationships with suppliers in order to maintain BCM is all part of the cybersecurity area that does not immediately catch the eye of users.

What do you like the most in your job and as an InnoTecher? How do you see yourself in a few years?

The fact of having new and constant challenges, and the hunger to learn makes no day the same, which is brutal. My future will undoubtedly go through specialization in Business Continuity Plans.

In what project are you involved? Tell us a little bit about it.

I’m on Worten’s cybersecurity team, cooperating with the creation of the company’s Business Continuity Plan, and performing risk analysis and compliance at an application level.

Where do you live? What do you like to do in your free time? Is there any (secret 😊) curiosity and fun facts about yourself? Let the world know 😉

I live on the south side of the Tejo River and I have two hobbies: going to the gym (I can’t live without sport) and farming!

Do you need a tech partner and top-of-the-game talents to enable or enrich your next project? Let’s talk!
