Registration is now open for the first Boot Camp scheduled for January and focused on OutSystems technology, with free participation for those selected.
The InnoAcademy has the dual objective of continuously enriching current employees’ hard and soft skills and attracting talent who has just arrived in the job market or wants to redirect their career. New trainees start with a work contract and later have a mentoring program to evolve and innovate at InnoTech. The expectation is to go from a team of 120 to 250 professionals by the end of 2023. Registration is now open for the first Boot Camp scheduled for January and focused on OutSystems technology, with free participation for those selected.
Lisbon, November 22, 2022 – InnoTech, a Portuguese tech company made up of innovation enthusiasts, has just launched a Training Academy, InnoAcademy, with the dual objective of continuously enriching the skills of current employees and attracting talent with up to 2 years of experience or looking to change their career. Registration for the first initiative – OutSystems Boot Camp – is now open and does not involve any costs for participants.
In just two and a half years of activity, InnoTech was recognized as one of the Top 10 Startups in Portugal by LinkedIn, certified as an excellent place to work by Great Place to Work, and surpassed the milestone of 100 employees and turnover of €2 million. The expectation is to continue to grow and reach a team of 250 talents in 2023 – currently, there are around 120.
To this end, the commitment to the well-being and valorization of the team, as well as the attraction and development of those who want to grow in the IT world are a priority. The creation of a Training Academy reinforces and accelerates this strategy and was in the company’s plans from the beginning.
The courses involve both the technologies most in demand by the market (from the most traditional to the most emerging) and in which InnoTech implements projects, methodologies, languages and soft skills. As Rodrigo Prinzo, Head of People Ops at InnoTech, explains, “The InnoAcademy is a broad space for training and sharing knowledge so that each person reaches their full potential. The pace and competitiveness of the IT sector lead us to differentiate ourselves not only in the way we attract the best talent but also in the way we take care of it over time. InnoAcademy is just one example”.
The first course, OutSystems Boot Camp, comprises 3 weeks of intensive, multi-disciplinary face-to-face training, allowing participants to become Certified Programmers on this leading low-code platform.
The selected new talents immediately start with an employment contract, and a career and skills development plan is subsequently built. Once the training is completed, and during their journey as InnoTechers, they have the possibility of joining a mentoring program, where they are accompanied by the company’s most senior OutSystems professionals.
“We have always been sensitive to providing our people with everything they need to be happy and prosper as professionals. This is the basis for the excellent service that we advocate for our customers. We invested first in an e-learning solution, due to the scope of content, agility and speed in the learning process, assigning a Udemy license with unlimited access to each employee. Now we take another step forward with our own Academy, which not only provides courses taught by experts we have in the most diverse areas but also incorporates strategic courses from reference partners, such as the OutSystems Boot Camp designed by ITUp”, highlights Rodrigo Prinzo.
InnoAcademy thus works as another gateway for new talent and as an opportunity for evolution and career mobility for current employees.
