Today, we invite you to meet Marta Alegre, Product Owner and passionate about technology and about the good it can bring to people’s lives. Marta is from the amazing region of the Algarve, so it’s natural that going to the beach is one of her favorite hobbies.
Why did you choose InnoTech to evolve your career?
I was searching for a smaller and family-like company and that’s what attracted me to InnoTech.
How do you describe yourself? What personal qualities do you highlight?
Well, I am passionate about technology and about the good it can bring to people’s lives. I also have an entrepreneurship mindset, which together with my passion for technology is a great mix to materialize great and innovative business ideas.
As a recent InnoTecher, what’s your opinion about the onboarding process? And the work environment you found at InnoTech?
The Onboarding process at InnoTech was extremely welcoming, getting to know an inspiring and chill office and some of my nice colleagues.
What is your role, what do you do in practice and what are your main skills?
I am working as a Product Owner, which is the person responsible for organizing and prioritizing the development team’s work and ensure customer/user satisfaction with the developed product/features. In a nutshell, I would say, making sure users/customers love our product.
What do you like the most in your job and as an InnoTecher? How do you see yourself in a few years?
I really like the opportunity to work with innovative and inspiring companies. Regarding the future, I don’t have the answers yet but I’m sure it will be rewarding 🙂
In what project are you involved? Tell us a little bit about it.
At the moment I am working at OutSystems on a user experience initiative.

I live near Parque das Nações in Lisbon, and now, while confined at home, I love to go out to the balcony and just sit in the sun 😎
